Secondary Education in Africa (SEA) Initiative
Keneuoe Semphi is a disability activist who identified limited access to information as a root cause for many challenges affecting youth with disabilities in Lesotho, especially the visually impaired. In trying to address that challenge she established a social enterprise that focuses on translating Information material into accessible formats for the visually impaired learners and teachers in Lesotho.
She is engaged as the Association for the Development of Education in Africa’s Youth Ambassador and her main responsibility is to Conduct youth focus group discussions to gain a better youth perspective in building Inclusive Secondary Education in Africa towards 2030 agenda. She is currently serving as member of the UN Youth Advisory Panel representing the interests of youth with disabilities in Lesotho. Keneuoe is slso an alumni of both the 2016 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative and 2017 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Foundation.
